Abstract
Provided are a method for a device-to-device (D2D) operation performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method. The method comprises: the terminal generating D2D band information which indicates a frequency band supporting the D2D operation; and transmitting the D2D band information to a network.

A method for a device-to-device (D2D) operation performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- generating D2D band information indicating a frequency band in which the UE supports the D2D operation;
- and
- transmitting the D2D band information to a network.
A user equipment (UE), the UE comprising:
- a radio frequency (RF) unit configured to transmit or receive a radio signal;
- and
- a processor operatively connected to the RF unit,
- wherein the processor is configured to perform:
- generating D2D band information indicating a frequency band in which the UE supports a D2D operation;
- and
- transmitting the D2D band information to a network.
