Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for processing a video, comprising: a step in which a video central processing unit communicates with a host, receives a bitstream, parses header information, and generates a plurality of tasks for parallel processing; a step in which free scan information is generated by a free scan of a video bitstream inputted from the host according to the control of the video central processing unit; and a step in which a plurality of video processing units process the plurality of tasks on the basis of the free scan information and the parsed header information by receiving the control of the video central processing unit.
Claims19
A device for processing videos, comprising:
- a video central processing unit which is able to communicate with a host and is provided to receive a bitstream and parse header information and is able to generate a plurality of tasks for the sake of parallel processing;
- a prescan module which is provided to generate prescan information by prescanning a video bitstream from the host according to controlling of the video central processing unit;
- and
- a plurality of video processing units which are provided to process a plurality of the tasks based on the parsed header information and the prescan information in accordance with a control of the video central processing unit.
A method for processing videos, comprising:
- receiving a bitstream, parsing header information, and generating a plurality of tasks for parallel processing, by a video central processing unit communicates with a host;
- generating, by a prescan module, prescan information by prescanning of the bitstream from the host according to the control of the video central processing unit;
- and
- processing, by a plurality of video processing units, plurality of tasks on the basis of the prescan information and the parsed header information by receiving the control of the video central processing unit.
