Printing apparatus, control method for printing apparatus, and storage medium

A control method for a printing apparatus including a user table for registering a plurality of users permitted to log into the printing apparatus, the control method comprising:

• performing login control of displaying a list of the plurality of users registered in the user table on a login screen of an operation unit, and when a user is selected through the login screen, permitting the user to log into the printing apparatus;
• and
• performing printing control of executing processing of printing print data transmitted from an external apparatus and stored in a storage unit, based on a print start operation performed by the user who has been permitted to log into the printing apparatus,
• wherein the printing control includes managing owner information indicating an owner of the print data stored in the storage unit, and
• wherein the login control includes acquiring the managed owner information, and displaying the login screen based on the acquired owner information.

A printing apparatus comprising:

• a reception unit configured to receive print data from an external apparatus;
• a storage unit configured to store the print data received by the reception unit in association with first user identification information indicating a user who has instructed printing of the print data and second user identification information indicating a user who is able to log into the printing apparatus;
• an operation unit configured to display information;
• and
• a control unit configured to display a screen for selecting user identification information on the operation unit, and display an operation screen corresponding to the selected user identification information on the operation unit when selection of the user identification information is received through the screen displayed on the operation unit,
• wherein the screen displayed by the control unit is switched between a screen for selecting user identification information from a list of the second user identification information stored in the storage unit and a screen for selecting user identification information from a list of the first user identification information associated with the print data stored in the storage unit.

A control method for a printing apparatus comprising:

• receiving print data from an external apparatus;
• storing in a storage unit, the received print data in association with first user identification information indicating a user who has instructed printing of the print data and second user identification information indicating a user who is able to log into the printing apparatus;
• and
• displaying a screen on which user identification information is selected on an operation unit, and displaying an operation screen corresponding to the selected user identification screen on the operation screen when selection of the user identification information is received through the screen displayed on the operation unit,
• wherein the displayed screen is switched between a screen on which user identification information is selected from a list of the second user identification information stored in the storage unit and a screen on which user identification information is selected from a list of the first user identification information that is associated with the print data stored in the storage unit.
