Abstract
According to one embodiment, a relay apparatus is connectable to a server and a plurality of storage devices. The relay apparatus includes a storage unit, a transfer destination management unit, and a transfer unit. The storage unit stores first information including information of the plurality of storage devices therein. The transfer destination management unit identifies a first storage device among the plurality of storage devices based on the first information in response to receiving a request from the server. The transfer unit transfers the received request to the first storage device.

A relay apparatus connectable to a server and a plurality of storage devices, the relay apparatus comprising:
- a storage unit that stores first information including information of the plurality of storage devices therein;
- a transfer destination management unit that identifies a first storage device among the plurality of storage devices based on the first information in response to receiving a request from the server;
- and
- a transfer unit that transfers the received request to the first storage device.
A relay apparatus connectable to a server and a plurality of storage devices, wherein
- the relay apparatus identifies one storage device from among the plurality of storage devices based on a request received from the server, and transfers the received request to the one storage device.
