Abstract
A method and apparatus for applying a fluid onto a number of surfaces. The apparatus comprises a structure, an applicator associated with the structure, a first control device associated with the structure, and a second control device associated with the structure. Applying a first force to the first control device causes the applicator to move relative to a center axis of the applicator. Applying a second force to the second control device causes the fluid to be delivered from a fluid dispensing system to the applicator.
Claims20
A method for applying a fluid onto a number of surfaces, the method comprising:
- moving an applicator associated with a structure over the number of surfaces in response to a first force being applied to a first control device associated with the structure;
- delivering the fluid to the applicator from a fluid dispensing system in response to a second force being applied to a second control device associated with the structure;
- and
- applying the fluid onto the number of surfaces with a desired level of coverage using the applicator while the fluid is being delivered to the applicator and while the applicator is being moved.
A method for dispensing a fluid from an applicator, the method comprising:
- moving the applicator over a number of surfaces in response to a first force being applied to a first control device associated with a structure associated with the applicator;
- delivering the fluid to the applicator from a fluid dispensing system in response to a second force being applied to a second control device associated with the structure;
- and
- dispensing the fluid from the applicator onto the number of surfaces with a desired level of coverage while the fluid is being delivered to the applicator and while the applicator is being moved.
