A smart terminal information display method, comprising:

• detecting an inputted locking event to lock a screen;
• responding to the locking event and displaying the information containing a list of specific functions on the screen;
• selecting a specific function on the list;
• receiving and executing the selected specific function on the list;
• displaying a brief introduction and use method of the specific function on the screen;
• and
• determining whether to read the information containing the specific function and the use method where if the determination is yes then entering the locking screen interface when reading the specific function and the use method displayed on the screen is completed, where if the determination is not yes then, turning off the interface displaying the information and entering the locking screen.
