Abstract
Secreted proteins as detection markers for insect vector and graft transmitted citrus disease are described. Method and kits for detecting the secreted proteins are provided.

A kit for detecting citrus stubborn disease or detecting citrus greening disease (Huanglongbing or HLB), the kit comprising one or more reagent specific for a secreted protein from Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus, wherein the secreted protein consists of SEQ ID NO:29.
