Abstract
In a suspension controlling apparatus for a vehicle which includes a suspension with a damping force that is variably settable and a control unit for controlling the damping force of the suspension on the basis of target damping force, the damping force of the suspension is controlled in response to stabilize the posture of a vehicle body even when a sudden acceleration variation occurs. A rotational speed difference across a clutch provided between an engine and a transmission is detected by the rotational speed difference detection member. A control unit changes target damping force to a given value when the rotational speed difference exceeds a first threshold value.
Claims20
A suspension controlling apparatus for a vehicle, comprising:
- a suspension with a damping force that is variably settable;
- and
- a control unit for controlling the damping force of the suspension on the basis of a target damping force;
- the control unit including rotational speed difference detection means for detecting a rotational speed difference across a clutch provided between an engine and a transmission;
- wherein the control unit changes the target damping force to a given value when the rotational speed difference exceeds a first threshold value.
A suspension controlling apparatus for a vehicle, comprising:
- a suspension with a damping force that is variably settable;
- and
- a rotational speed difference detection means for detecting a rotational speed difference across a clutch provided between an engine and a transmission and providing a signal based on the rotational speed difference;
- a control unit for receiving the signal from the rotational speed difference detection means, said control unit controlling the damping force of the suspension on the basis of a target damping force;
- wherein the control unit changes the target damping force to a given value when the rotational speed difference exceeds a first threshold value.
