## Abstract

According to one embodiment, a storage system includes a storage which includes a plurality of node memories including a nonvolatile memory and a control unit which controls the nonvolatile memory, a routing unit which controls packet transfer between two or more of the node memories, and a packet control unit which analyzes the packet transferred from the routing unit.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A storage system comprising:
a storage which includes a plurality of node memories including a nonvolatile memory and a control unit which controls the nonvolatile memory, a routing unit which controls packet transfer between two or more of the node memories, and a packet control unit which analyzes the packet transferred from the routing unit;
a connection unit which connects the storage to outside and controls the storage; and
a management unit which at least monitors power supply voltages of the storage and the connection unit,
wherein the packet control unit includes a division unit which generates a divided packet including part of the packet from the packet.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The storage system of claim 1, wherein the packet control unit further includes a reconstitution unit which reconstitutes an original packet which is a packet of a division source from the divided packet.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The storage system of claim 2, wherein the division unit at least describes a transmission source address, a signature and information indicating which part of the original packet the divided packet corresponds to, in the divided packet.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

The storage system of claim 3, wherein the reconstitution unit reconstitutes the original packet on the basis of the transmission source address, the signature, and the information indicating which part of the original packet the divided packet corresponds to, which are described in the divided packet.

### Claim 5 (depends on 2)

The storage system of claim 2, wherein the packet control unit transmits an instruction to generate the divided packet to the division unit, and transmits an instruction to reconstitute the original packet from the divided packet to the reconstitution unit.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The storage system of claim 1, wherein the routing unit uses a partial address described in the divided packet but not a full address.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The storage system of claim 1, wherein the routing unit separates routing of the divided packet on the basis of type of the divided packet to be received.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The storage system of claim 7, wherein the routing unit includes:
a first memory which stores a first packet; and
a second memory which stores a second packet the type of which differs from the first packet.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The storage system of claim 8, wherein the first and second memories include a memory unit which stores the divided packet.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The storage system of claim 9, wherein the memory unit stores the divided packet in a reception order, regardless of an order in which the divided packet is divided.

### Claim 11

A method for controlling a storage system which includes a plurality of node memories including a nonvolatile memory and a control unit which controls the nonvolatile memory, the method comprising:
controlling packet transfer between two or more of the node memories;
analyzing content described in a receive packet; and
generating a divided packet including part of the packet from the packet on the basis of a result of the analysis.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, further comprising reconstituting an original packet which is a packet of a division source from the divided packet.

### Claim 13 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, further comprising at least describing a transmission source address, a signature and information indicating which part of the original packet the divided packet corresponds to, in the divided packet.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, further comprising reconstituting an original packet which is a packet of a division source on the basis of the transmission source address, the signature and the information indicating which part of the original packet the divided packet corresponds to, which are described in the divided packet.

### Claim 15 (depends on 11)

The method of claim 11, further comprising transmitting an instruction to generate the divided packet, and transmitting an instruction to reconstitute the original packet from the divided packet.
