Method of radio communication between columns of a lifting bridge and associated lifting bridge

A radio communication method between columns of a lifting bridge to establish and operate a bridge comprised of at least two lifting columns selected in an environment including a plurality of columns able to be used for the formation and simultaneous operation of several bridges in multichannel mode, the radio channels being selected in a predetermined frequency band, the operation of the bridges thus formed aiming to synchronize the columns during the lifting operations and in case of fault in one of the columns or in case of emergency stop, the method comprising the steps of:

• scanning transmissions of the radio channels by columns, upon being powered of, in order to detect availability and scrambling level by outside transmissions;
• selecting a column first for establishing a bridge, by assignment of an entry key by the operator and corresponding to a single bridge, selects a free channel, creates a beacon channel there and manages it in broadcasting mode, allowing the registration of at least one other column N to which the same key has been given, each column N (N≧2) fitting in the first available time slot of the beacon channel, all of the columns having the same key being able to close the registration, the bridge then being formed;
• dialoging between each column of a formed bridge and others in the broadcasting mode during the operation of said bridge, the synchronization of the transmissions of the frames containing the data being done while keeping the time slots occupied during the registration, with an equal weight for all of the columns.
