Abstract
A desired functionality expected for a wireless communication device may be accepted. Modules of the wireless communication device may be selected to achieve the desired functionality. Modules may include antennas, processors, and processing techniques.
Claims16
A method for optimizing a wireless communication device comprising:
- accepting a desired functionality expected for the wireless communication device;
- selecting a plurality of modules of the wireless communication device to achieve the desired functionality, wherein the selected modules include one or more of:
- a plurality of antennas;
- at least a first processing module and a second processing module, wherein the first processing module is implemented with a single processing technique, the second processing module is implemented with at least first and second processing techniques, the first processing technique in the second processing module is selected while the second processing technique in the second processing module is not selected.
1 more element
A wireless communication device comprising:
- a plurality of antennas;
- a plurality of processing modules;
- a processor, in responding to a desired functionality expected from the wireless communication device, configured to determine a selection for an optimized performance of the wireless communication device for the functionality, wherein the selection includes one or more of the antennas, at least a first module and a second module, the first module is implemented with a single processing technique, the second module is implemented with at least first and second processing techniques, the first processing technique in the second module is selected with the selection while the second processing technique is not used in the selection.
