Synchronizing video content with extrinsic data

A method, comprising:

• causing, via at least one of one or more computing devices, a user interface to be rendered that facilitates an entry of a corresponding score for at least one of a plurality of extrinsic data items that are associated with a video content feature that is currently being presented to a first user;
• receiving, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, the corresponding score of a particular extrinsic data item of the plurality of extrinsic data items through the user interface;
• determining, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, a time in the video content feature that is currently being presented to the first user;
• and
• causing, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, the particular extrinsic data item to be rendered on an electronic display at the time during another presentation of the video content feature to a second user based at least in part on the corresponding score.

A method, comprising:

• receiving, via at least one of one or more computing devices, a number of user selections of a particular extrinsic data item from a plurality of extrinsic data items relative to a specific time in a video content feature;
• determining, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, a measure of relevance for the particular extrinsic data item based at least in part on the number of user selections;
• determining, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, that the measure of relevance for the particular extrinsic data item meets a predetermined threshold for relevance;
• and
• causing, via at least one of the one or more computing devices, the particular extrinsic data item to be rendered on an electronic display at the specific time during a presentation of the video content feature based at least in part on the measure of relevance meeting the predetermined threshold for relevance.
