Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and program

An information processing method comprising:

• receiving from a communication apparatus, aggregate-value information which indicates at least one of:
• an aggregate value of a data communication amount obtained by aggregating, per unit of aggregation time of one second or longer, the data communication amount of the communication apparatus which has been measured on a millisecond or microsecond basis, and
• an aggregate value of a data accumulation amount obtained by aggregating, per unit of the aggregation time, the data accumulation amount of the communication apparatus which has been measured on the millisecond or microsecond basis;
• and
• analyzing at least one of the aggregate value of the data communication amount and the aggregate value of the data accumulation amount indicated by the aggregate-value information, to determine whether or not microburst traffic has occurred at the communication apparatus.

A program causing a computer to execute:

• a reception process to receive, from a communication apparatus, aggregate-value information indicating at least one of:
• an aggregate value of a data communication amount obtained by aggregating, per unit of aggregation time of one second or longer, the data communication amount of the communication apparatus which has been measured on a millisecond or microsecond basis, and
• an aggregate value of a data accumulation amount obtained by aggregating, per unit of the aggregation time, the data accumulation amount of the communication apparatus which has been measured on the millisecond or microsecond basis;
• and
• a determination process to analyze at least one of the aggregate value of the data communication amount and the aggregate value of the data accumulation amount indicated in the aggregate-value information, to determine whether or not microburst traffic has occurred at the communication apparatus.
