Abstract
An orthopedic device has various frame elements concealed by a sleeve defining pockets into which such frame elements are located. The orthopedic device includes a strap tightening assembly adapted to secure a plurality of straps simultaneously. The frame may include flexible edge features located along a periphery thereof.

An orthopedic device, comprising:
- a frame including a first shell;
- a first strap having a first end connected to the first shell by a cable;
- a tensioning mechanism connected to the cable and arranged to provide incremental adjustment of the cable among a plurality of predetermined settings;
- at least one guide secured onto the first shell, the cable extending through the at least one guide between the tensioning mechanism and the first strap.

An orthopedic device, comprising:
- a frame including first and second shells connected to one another by a hinge;
- a first strap having a first end connected to the first shell by a cable, and a second end removably securing to the second shell, the first strap spiraling between the first and second shells;
- a second strap having a first end connected to the first shell by a cable, and a second end removably securing to the second shell, the second strap spiraling between the first and second shells;
- a tensioning mechanism arranged to provide incremental adjustment of the cable among a plurality of predetermined settings;
- at least one guide secured onto the first shell, the cable extending through the at least one guide between the tensioning mechanism and at least one of the first and second straps;
- wherein the first and second straps are simultaneously adjustable by the tensioning mechanism.

- a frame including a first shell;
- a first strap having a first end carrying a bracket and connected to the first shell by a cable;
- a tensioning mechanism connected to the cable and arranged to provide incremental adjustment of the cable among a plurality of predetermined settings, the tensioning mechanism being mounted directly onto the first shell;
- at least one guide secured onto the first shell, the cable extending through the at least one guide between the tensioning mechanism and the first strap.
