- a magnetic body comprising a magnetic material;
- a coil part embedded in the magnetic body;
- and
- a magnetic layer disposed on a surface of the magnetic body.

A manufacturing method of a coil electronic component, comprising:
- forming a coil part;
- forming a magnetic body by stacking magnetic sheets above and below the coil part, each of the magnetic sheets comprising a metallic magnetic powder and a thermosetting resin;
- and
- forming a magnetic layer on a surface of the magnetic body.

- a magnetic body comprising first and second end surfaces, first and second side surfaces, and first and second main surfaces, wherein the first and second main surfaces extend between the first and second end surfaces and between the first and second side surfaces;
