Abstract
An electronic device is provided. The device includes a first connector configured to couple with a second connector and including a plurality of contacts separated from each other, and a processor configured to detect an incomplete connection between the first connector and the second connector when an electric current does not flow through at least one of the contacts.

An electronic device comprising:
- a first connector configured to couple with a second connector and comprising a plurality of contacts separated from each other;
- and
- a processor configured to detect an incomplete connection between the first connector and the second connector when an electric current does not flow through at least one of the contacts.
A method for operating an electronic device comprising a first connector and a second connector, the method comprising:
- detecting no electric current flow of at least one of joints between the first connector and the second connector;
- and
- notifying, in response to no electric current flow detected, a connection failure between the first connector and the second connector.
