Abstract
A mobile phone apparatus 10 includes a touch panel controlling IC 30. The touch panel controlling IC 30 controls electric power supplied from the electric power IC 14 on the basis of a received active signal or standby signal to set a touch panel input apparatus 32 to an active state or a standby state on the basis of the received active signal or standby signal. A processor 12 transmits to the touch panel controlling IC 30 the active signal or the standby signal in correspondence with a determined state of the mobile phone apparatus 10.
Claims3
A mobile terminal, comprising:
- a display;
- a power supply configured to supply a power from a battery;
- a touch panel separate from the plurality of keys, the touch configured to be supplied with the power from the power supply and detect a touch to the display;
- an earphone connector configured to be connected with an earphone;
- at least one processor configured to:
- set to the touch panel a first state or a second state that electric power consumption of the battery can be suppressed in comparison to the first state;
- when a first application is executed before a start of telephone conversation, set to the touch panel a first state;
- and
- maintain the first state for the touch panel, if the first state is set before a start of telephone conversation and if the earphone is connected to the earphone connector when the telephone conversation is started.
A touch panel controlling method in a mobile terminal which includes a power supply configured to supply a power from a battery and an earphone connector configured to be connected with an earphone, the method comprising;
- setting to the touch panel a first state or a second state that electric power consumption of the battery can be suppressed in comparison to the first state;
- when a first application is executed before a start of telephone conversation, setting to the touch panel a first state;
- and
- maintaining the first state for the touch panel, if the first state is set before a start of telephone conversation and if the earphone is connected to the earphone connector when the telephone conversation is started.
