Abstract
A lighting device for a high-pressure discharge lamp comprises a power supply circuit configured to supply an alternating current to the high-pressure discharge lamp so as to light the high-pressure discharge lamp, and to increase a power to be supplied to the high-pressure discharge lamp and reduce a frequency of the alternating current when an inter-electrode voltage of the high-pressure discharge lamp reaches a predetermined inter-electrode voltage lower limit.

A lighting device for a high-pressure discharge lamp, comprising:
- a power supply circuit configured to supply an alternating current to the high-pressure discharge lamp so as to light the high-pressure discharge lamp, and to increase a power to be supplied to the high-pressure discharge lamp and reduce a frequency of the alternating current when an inter-electrode voltage of the high-pressure discharge lamp reaches a predetermined inter-electrode voltage lower limit.
A lighting device for a high-pressure discharge lamp, comprising:
- a power supply circuit configured to supply an alternating current to the high-pressure discharge lamp so as to light the high-pressure discharge lamp, and to increase a power to be supplied to the high-pressure discharge lamp when an inter-electrode voltage of the high-pressure discharge lamp reaches a predetermined inter-electrode voltage lower limit, and to reduce a frequency of the alternating current after the power is increased and then a predetermined period of time elapses.
A method for lighting a high-pressure discharge lamp, comprising:
- increasing a power of an alternating current to be supplied to the high-pressure discharge lamp and reducing a frequency of the alternating current when an inter-electrode voltage of the high-pressure discharge lamp reaches a predetermined inter-electrode voltage lower limit.
