Tool organizer and method of making the same

A method of customizing an organizer for maintaining one or more items, the method comprising the following steps:

• providing the organizer having:
• a depressible core that maintains conformity with depressions of the one or more items, the depressible core having an upper surface and a lower surface, the depressions of the one or more items in the depressible core being customizable, the depressions receive the one or more items in the depressible core for storage;
• a stretchy fabric, covering material disposed over the upper surface of the core, and
• a layer of tacky adhesive disposed between the upper surface of the depressible core and the stretchy fabric covering material to maintain the covering material in close conformity to each depression formed in the depressible core;
• placing one or more items to be stored on the stretchy fabric covering;
• and
• pressing or tapping the one or more items to form one or more depressions in the upper surface of the depressible core.
