Authenticating data transfer

A method for authenticating data transfer, the method comprising:

• an enterprise redirecting a user-agent to an intermediary platform, the redirecting comprising sending a message to the user-agent comprising an enterprise user authentication token and an application identifier;
• the intermediary platform redirecting the user-agent to an application server, the redirecting comprising sending a message to the user-agent comprising a tracking signature and a callback URL;
• the user-agent authenticating a user to the application server;
• the application server redirecting the user-agent to the callback URL, the redirecting comprising sending a message to the user-agent comprising the tracking signature and an application user identifier;
• the intermediary platform redirecting the user-agent to the application server, the redirecting comprising sending a message to the user-agent comprising a platform user identifier, the application user identifier, and a redirect URI comprising a transaction identifier;
• the application server redirecting the user-agent to the redirect URI, the redirecting comprising sending a message to the user-agent comprising the transaction identifier.
