Abstract
A wireless device transmits a first signal in a first cell group and transmits a second signal in a second cell group. The wireless device adjusts a signal transmission power of one of the first signal and the second signal if a power value exceeds an allowable transmission power and if an overlapping in time exceeds a first duration.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a wireless device, at least one control message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of cell groups comprising a first cell group and a second cell group, wherein:
- uplink transmission timing in the first cell group is derived employing a first cell in the first cell group;
- and
- uplink transmission timing in the second cell group is derived employing a second cell in the second cell group;
- transmitting a first signal in a first subframe of the first cell group;
- transmitting a second signal in the second cell group, wherein transmission of the first signal overlaps in time with the second signal in a second subframe;
- and
- scaling a signal transmission power of the first signal if a power value exceeds an allowable transmission power and if the overlapping in time exceeds a first duration.

A wireless device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the wireless device to:
- receive at least one control message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells grouped into a plurality of cell groups comprising a first cell group and a second cell group, wherein:
- uplink transmission timing in the first cell group is derived employing a first cell in the first cell group;
- and
- uplink transmission timing in the second cell group is derived employing a second cell in the second cell group;
- transmit a first signal in a first subframe of the first cell group;
- transmit a second signal in the second cell group, wherein transmission of the first signal overlaps in time with the second signal in a second subframe;
- and
- scale a signal transmission power of at least one of the first signal and the second signal if a power value exceeds an allowable transmission power and if the overlapping in time exceeds a first duration.

A wireless device comprising:

- and
- memory storing instructions that, when executed, cause the wireless device to:

- uplink transmission timing in the first cell group is derived employing a first cell in the first cell group;
- and
- uplink transmission timing in the second cell group is derived employing a second cell in the second cell group;
- transmit a first signal starting in a first subframe of a cell of the first cell group;
- transmit, overlapping in time with the first signal, a second signal starting in a second subframe of the second cell group;
- and
- adjust a signal transmission power of the second signal if a power value exceeds an allowable transmission power, wherein a calculation of the power value considers transmission power of the first signal and the second signal if the first subframe and the second subframe overlap in time with more than a first duration.
