• The content orchestration system of claim 21, wherein the plurality of content sources include a first content stream from a national content provider and a second content stream from an affiliate of the national content provider, the affiliate being a local content provider for the destination of the customized content stream.

• The content orchestration system of claim 28, wherein the instructions enable assembly of a frame accurate customized video stream from the plurality of video streams.

• The content orchestration system of claim 21, wherein the instructions enable assembly of the customized content stream as a personalized content stream for delivery to an individual user.

• receiving, using a command interface, the content assembly command to the content orchestration engine.

• sending the instructions for assembling the customized content stream to a streaming interface in the form of streaming application programming interface calls.

• The method of claim 33, wherein the instructions include an instruction to replace a portion of primary content from the primary content source with content from another of the plurality of content sources.

• The method of claim 34, wherein the instructions include an instruction to replace a portion of the primary content with live content.

• assembling, in response to the instructions, the customized content stream so as to include the live content substantially in real-time.

• The method of claim 36, wherein the plurality of content sources include a first content stream from a national content provider and a second content stream from an affiliate of the national content provider, the affiliate being a local content provider for the destination of the customized content stream.

• The method of claim 31, wherein the plurality of content sources comprise a plurality of video streams.

• assembling, in response to the instructions, a frame accurate customized video stream from the plurality of video streams.

• assembling, in response to the instructions, the customized content stream as a personalized content stream for delivery to an individual user.
