Abstract
An overcurrent protection circuit includes a voltage monitoring part configured to monitor an output voltage generated from a periodic switching operation of a switching output stage or a feedback voltage corresponding to the output voltage, a current monitoring part configured to monitor whether a current flowing through the switching output stage is under an overcurrent condition, and a protection operation part configured to perform an overcurrent protection operation in response to monitoring results of both the voltage monitoring part and the current monitoring part.

An overcurrent protection circuit comprising:
- a voltage monitoring part configured to monitor an output voltage generated from a periodic switching operation of a switching output stage or a feedback voltage corresponding to the output voltage;
- a current monitoring part configured to monitor whether a current flowing through the switching output stage is under an overcurrent condition;
- and
- a protection operation part configured to perform an overcurrent protection operation in response to monitoring results of both the voltage monitoring part and the current monitoring part.
