An anode active material comprising:
- a graphite carbon material;
- and
- a coating layer in which an amorphous carbon material comprising metal particles is coated on a surface of the graphite carbon material,
- wherein contents of the metal particles, a primary quinoline insoluble material, and ash comprised in the amorphous carbon material satisfy Equation 1 below:
