Abstract
A display apparatus includes a display panel comprising a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines, a gate driver circuit configured to generate a plurality of gate signals sequentially applied to the gate lines, and a timing controller configured to generate a reference control signal, the reference control signal adjusting at least one of a pulse-width and a phase of a predetermined gate signal among the gate signals.
Claims20
A display apparatus comprising:
- a display panel comprising a plurality of gate lines and a plurality of data lines;
- a gate driver circuit configured to generate a plurality of gate signals sequentially applied to the gate lines;
- and
- a timing controller configured to generate a reference control signal to adjust at least one of a pulse-width and a phase of a predetermined gate signal among the gate signals.
A method of driving a display apparatus comprising:
- generating a reference control signal;
- generating a gate signal for a predetermined gate line;
- and
- adjusting at least one of a pulse-width and a phase of the gate signal based on the reference control signal.
A timing controller for a display apparatus, the timing controller comprising:
- a first signal generator configured to generate a first reference control signal;
- a second signal generator configured to generate a masking signal;
- a third signal generator configured to perform an OR operation on a first pulse of the masking signal and the first reference control signal, and perform an XOR operation on a second pulse of the masking signal and the first reference control signal, to generate a second reference control signal for synchronization with a gate signal applied to a gate line of the display apparatus.
