Abstract
This disclosure generally relates to systems and methods to receiving onboard diagnostic data associated with an operational state of a vehicle of a user and pushing a message to the user, the message including information associated with the onboard diagnostic data.

A method, comprising:
- calculating vehicle-related trip expense information based on a vehicle trip distance included in onboard diagnostic data of a vehicle, the calculating performed by a processor of a machine;
- calculating tax deductions based on tax rules of a vehicle location associated with the vehicle trip distance;
- and
- wirelessly pushing a message to a mobile device, the message including the calculated vehicle-related trip expense information calculated and the calculated tax deductions.

A system comprising:
- a processor, and a memory including instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- calculate vehicle-related trip expense information based on a vehicle trip distance included in onboard diagnostic data of a vehicle, the calculating performed by a processor of a machine;
- calculate tax deductions based on tax rules of a vehicle location associated with the vehicle trip distance;
- and
- wirelessly push a message to a mobile device, the message including the calculated vehicle-related trip expense information calculated and the calculated tax deductions.
