Web-based electronic controlled substance transfer management system and method

A method for secure transfer management of a controlled substance related to a set of buyers, the secure transfer management being first between a set of buyer devices associated respectively with the set of buyers and a server, and thereafter between the server and a set of supplier devices associated respectively with a set of suppliers, the method comprising the steps of:

• receiving, at the server from the set of buyer devices, a set of controlled substance transfer requests;
• retrieving, at the server, a set of digital signatures;
• generating, at the server, a set of digitally signed messages from the set of controlled substance transfer requests and the set of digital signatures;
• generating, at the server, a first set of hash values from the set of digitally signed messages;
• comparing, at the server, a second set of hash values to the first set of hash values;
• generating, at the server, a set of encoded orders from the set of digitally signed orders when the first set of hash values matches the second set of hash values;
• and,
• transmitting, from the server to the set of supplier device, the set of encoded orders.

A controlled substance ordering system comprising:

• a network;
• a set of buyer devices connected to the network;
• a set of supplier devices connected to the network;
• a server connected to the network, programmed to:
• receive, at the server from the set of buyer devices, a set of controlled substance transfer requests;
• retrieve, at the server, a set of digital signatures;
• generate, at the server, a set of digitally signed messages from the set of controlled substance transfer requests and the set of digital signatures;
• generate, at the server, a first set of hash values from the set of digitally signed messages;
• compare, at the server, a second set of hash values to the first set of hash values;
• generate, at the server, a set of encoded orders from the set of digitally signed orders when the first set of hash values matches the second set of hash values;
• and,
• transmit, from the server to the supplier device, the set of encoded orders.
