Systems and methods for valuing a merchant using transaction data

A merchant valuation computing device comprising one or more processors communicatively coupled to one or more memory devices, said merchant valuation computing device configured to:

• receive a valuation request message including a merchant identifier and a report range;
• receive a plurality of payment card transactions initiated by cardholders with a merchant associated with the merchant identifier, wherein the plurality of payment card transactions occurred during the report range;
• determine one or more valuation criteria for the merchant based on the plurality of payment card transactions;
• generate a valuation report for the merchant based on the one or more valuation criteria;
• and
• transmit the valuation report.

A computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions embodied thereon, wherein when executed by a merchant valuation computing device having at least one processor coupled to at least one memory device, the computer-executable instructions cause the processor to:

• receive a valuation request message including a merchant identifier and a report range;
• receive a plurality of payment card transactions initiated by cardholders with a merchant associated with the merchant identifier, wherein the plurality of payment card transactions occurred during the report range;
• determine one or more valuation criteria for the merchant based on the plurality of payment card transactions;
• generate a valuation report for the merchant based on the one or more valuation criteria;
• and
• transmit the valuation report.
