Abstract
The present invention relates to an electronic medical record system-based apparatus and method for managing summary sheets that, in an electronic medical record system, extract important information from patient information in accordance with a summary sheet configuration set in advance, display the extracted information in a single summary sheet, and thus enable important patient information to be checked in an integrated manner.
Claims12
An electronic medical record (EMR) system-based apparatus for managing summary sheets, comprising:
- a summary sheet activation unit formed on one side of a patient information inquiry window of an EMR system, and configured to request activation of a summary sheet;
- a summary sheet control unit configured to control a task of displaying the summary sheet and a task of setting the summary sheet in response to the request for the activation of the summary sheet;
- a summary sheet configuration unit configured to extract the content of the summary sheet from patient information in accordance with the setting of the summary sheet;
- and
- a summary sheet display unit configured to display the content of the summary sheet, extracted by the summary sheet configuration unit, in a popup window form.
An electronic medical record (EMR) system-based method of managing summary sheets, comprising the steps of:
- (a) setting a configuration environment of a summary sheet using an environment setting unit;
- (b) upon inquiry about patient information, extracting patient information and configuring a summary sheet in accordance with the environmental conditions set at step (a);
- (c) requesting activation of a display window for the summary sheet using a summary sheet activation unit in a screen in which the patient information has been inquired about;
- and
- (d) displaying the summary sheet configured at step (b) using a summary sheet display unit.
