Method, System and Device for Connecting Similar Users

A server to connect users based on live audio listening information comprising:

• computer storage media configured to store audio listening information for a plurality of users, the audio listening information for each user comprising information identifying audio the user is currently listening to;
• and
• a processor configured to:
• automatically generate a list of users that are currently listening to the same audio as a particular user based on the audio listening information stored in the computer storage media;
• and
• transmit contact information for those users in the list of users from the server to an end-user device associated with the particular user, the contact information enabling the particular user to communicate with at least one of the users in the list of users.

A system to connect users based on live audio listening information comprising:

• a server to connect users based on live audio listening information, the server comprising:
• computer storage media configured to store audio listening information for a plurality of users, the audio listening information for each user comprising information identifying audio the user is currently listening to;
• and
• a processor configured to:
• automatically generate a list of users that are currently listening to the same audio as a particular user based on the audio listening information stored in the computer storage media;
• and
• transmit contact information for those users in the list of users from the server to an end-user device associated with the particular user, the contact information enabling the particular user to communicate with at least one of the users in the list of users;
• and
• the end-user device associated with the particular user, the end-user device configured to:
• transmit the audio listening information for the particular user to the server;
• and
• receive the contact information for those users in the list of users from the server.
