Abstract
A method and apparatus for executing an application which provides a graphical user interface (GUI) is provided, the method including, determining a score based on resource usage of a UI element provided by the GUI for user interaction, and allocating resources to the UI element based on the determined score.

A method of executing an application which provides a graphical user interface (GUI), comprising:
- determining a score for the UI element based on resource usage of a UI element provided by the GUI for user interaction;
- and
- allocating resources to the UI element based the determined score.
A device for executing an application which provides a graphical user interface (GUI), the device comprising:
- a processor configured to determine, based on resource usage of a UI element provided by the GUI for user interaction, a score for the UI element, and to allocate resources to the UI element based on the determined score;
- and
- a display configured to display the UI element.
