A control method of an information processing apparatus including an arithmetic processing device and a storage device configured to store data, the control method comprising:

• outputting an access request by the arithmetic processing device;
• accepting the access request to the storage device from the arithmetic processing device by a storage control device included in the information processing apparatus;
• transferring the accepted access request to the storage device by the storage control device;
• acquiring a response to the access request from the storage device by the storage control device;
• and
• sending an access request to the storage device to the storage control device in place of the access request to the storage device from the arithmetic processing device, and acquiring a response from the storage device via the storage control device by a diagnosis control device.
