Abstract
A data storage device includes a memory die. The memory die includes a resistive memory. A method includes determining a power characteristic associated with performing a write process to write data to the resistive memory. The method further includes initiating a modified write process in response to detecting that the power characteristic satisfies a threshold.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- at a data storage device that includes a memory die, wherein the memory die includes a resistive memory, performing:
- determining a power characteristic associated with performing a write process to write data to the resistive memory;
- and
- initiating a modified write process in response to detecting that the power characteristic satisfies a threshold.
1 more element
A data storage device comprising:
- a memory die, wherein the memory die includes a resistive memory;
- and
- a controller, wherein the controller is coupled to the memory die, wherein the controller is configured to initiate a write process to write data to the resistive memory using either a first write command that causes the memory die to perform the write process according to a first power distribution mode or using a second write command that causes the memory die to perform the write process according to a second power distribution mode.
