• The toner container according to claim 4, further comprising a guiding portion, provided on the mounting portion, to guide the linear portion.

• The toner container according to claim 1, further comprising a biasing member to bias the shutter in a direction of closing the shutter.

• The toner container according to claim 1, wherein
• the operating member is disposed on a near side in a mounting direction of the container body, and
• the shutter is disposed on a far side in the mounting direction of the container body.

• The toner container according to claim 1, wherein, with respect to the mounting portion, the container body is detachably attachable from a front side of an image forming apparatus.

• The toner container according to claim 1, wherein the mounting portion is provided in a process unit that is detachably attachable to an image-forming-apparatus main body.

• The toner container according to claim 10, further comprising a gripper disposed on a near side in a mounting direction of the toner container.

• The toner container according to claim 12, wherein, in a state in which the engaging portion engages with the convex portion and the operating member is pivoted to switch the locking portion to the locked state, when the process cartridge that is integrated with the toner container is held by gripping the gripper, a contact location of the engaging portion and the convex portion is capable of being located vertically beneath the center of pivoting of the operating member.

• The toner container according to claim 1, wherein
• the container body comprises a conveying member, which conveys an internal toner to the outlet, and a drive transmission unit, which transmits a driving force to the conveying member, and
• the drive transmission unit and the linking member are disposed on side surfaces of the container body and the mounting portion on the same side in a mutually non-overlapping manner when viewed from a direction perpendicular to the side surfaces.

• The toner container according to claim 1, further comprising a gripper, wherein
• the toner container is detachably attachable to a process unit comprising at least an image carrier and a developing device, which develops an image on the image carrier with toner, and
• when the toner container is attached to the process unit, the process unit and the toner container can be carried as an process cartridge, into which the process unit and the toner container are integrated, by gripping the gripper.

• The toner container according to claim 15, wherein the gripper is provided on the toner container in a pivotable manner.

• The toner container according to claim 1, wherein the toner container contains a toner.

• The toner container according to claim 17, wherein the toner contained in the toner container is a mixture of a toner and a carrier.

• An image forming apparatus comprising the developing device and the toner container according to claim 1.
