Toner

A method of producing a toner comprising toner particles and fine inorganic particles on a surface of the toner particles, the method comprising:

• mixing a raw material which contains a binder resin, a colorant, and a wax, to obtain a mixed material;
• melt kneading the mixed material to obtain a resin composition;
• cooling the resin composition to obtain a cooled product;
• pulverizing the cooled product to obtain a pulverized product;
• classifying the pulverized product to obtain a classified product;
• and
• treating a surface of the classified product by hot air to obtain the toner particles,
• wherein:
• the binder resin contains a polyester resin A and a styrene resin B;
• a content ratio AB of the polyester resin A and the styrene resin B is 85/15 or more and 98/2 or less based on mass;
• the styrene resin B is obtained by polymerization of monomers consisting of a styrene and a n-butyl acrylate;
• and
• a tetrahydrofuran soluble component of the styrene resin B contained in the binder resin has a weight average molecular weight Mw of 2,000 or more and 5,000 or less.
