Abstract
A sensor is for continuous detection of minute changes of density in fluids and biological fluids, solids and semisolid bodies by use of a transducer. A method continuously detects changes of density of fluids or solids. The method can be carried out using the sensor.
Claims18
A device for continuous detection of a change of density in a fluid or a solid, comprising:
- a transducer generating a pulse train, a pulse transmitter, a power input, a signal analyzer and a read out unit.
A method for continuous detection of a change of density of a fluid or a solid, comprising:
- applying a fixed pulse train generated by a transducer to a surface of a body or a liquid in question, and
- monitoring the change in a phase shift and an amplitude between a ingoing pulse and a reflected pulse.
