Abstract
A system for deleting map data comprises an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to determine a location associated with a device. The processor is configured to determine one or more map bundles to delete based at least in part on the location and delete the one or more map bundles.

A system for deleting map data, comprising:
- an interface configured to:
- determine a location associated with a device, wherein the location is determined based at least in part on directly querying a modem to determine a type of modem;
- and
- a processor configured to:
- determine one or more map bundles to delete based at least in part on the location;
- and
- delete the one or more map bundles.

- determining whether initialization of the device is valid;

- in the event that initialization of the device is valid:
