Abstract
A regulator moldboard and grader blade assembly is provided and includes a moldboard having at least one transversely extending pin, the pin having a notch with a surface inclined toward the moldboard. At least one grader blade has at least one mounting opening having a flared surface complementary to the notch so that the blade is hangable on the pin so that the notch draws the blade against the moldboard as a fastener tightens the blade to the moldboard.
Claims17
A regulator wing blade and wear plate assembly, comprising:
- a moldboard having at least one pin extending transversely to the moldboard, said pin having a notch with a surface inclined toward said moldboard;
- at least one grader blade having at least one mounting opening having a flared surface complementary to said notch so that said blade is hangable on said pin so that said notch draws said blade against said moldboard.
A ballast regulator, comprising:
- a main frame defining a longitudinal axis, a first side, a second side and an upper surface;
- a plurality of wing pivot brackets spaced along said axis and secured to and projecting from said upper surface;
- a regulator wing and telescoping boom assembly associated with at least one of said frame sides;
- each said boom assembly including a mounting end dimensioned for being pivotally mounted to said wing pivot brackets so that each said boom is movable between a work position extending from said sides, and a retracted travel position, where said assembly is pulled up over said upper surface for reducing the travel width of said regulator.
A ballast regulator, comprising:
- a main frame having a longitudinal axis;
- a broom assembly associated with an end of said frame;
- a shroud included in said broom assembly;
- a shroud bracket movably connected to said main frame;
- a turntable located on an upper surface of said shroud bracket;
- and
- said shroud being pivotably mounted to said shroud bracket via said turntable between an operational position wherein said broom element extends along a broom axis perpendicular to said frame axis, and a travel position wherein said broom axis is generally parallel to said frame axis.
