- a seat assembly comprising a material constructed and arranged to exhibit dry adhesion to grip a contact surface in a first direction and release the contact surface in a second direction.
A method comprising:
- providing an seat assembly comprising a material constructed and arranged to exhibit dry adhesion to grip a contact surface in a first direction and release the contact surface in a second direction;
- initiating a deployment of the seat assembly;
- initiating contact between the contact surface and the seat assembly;
- and
- adhering the seat assembly to grip the contact surface in a first direction.
