Pneumatic tire

A pneumatic tire, comprising:

• a side wall having a side surface and a roughened region formed on the side surface such that the roughened region is extending in a circumferential direction of the pneumatic tire,
• wherein the roughened region comprises a plurality of lands and a plurality of dimples formed between adjacent lands, the plurality of lands comprises a plurality of first lands and a plurality of second lands formed such that the first lands and the second lands are alternately arrayed in the circumferential direction and that the first lands and the second lands are inclined relative to a radial direction of the pneumatic tire in opposite inclination directions, and the roughened region is formed such that when the pneumatic tire is mounted on a normal rim and is filled with air at a normal inflation pressure, the roughened region has an outer periphery formed on a radially inner side of a position 30 mm away in a radially inward direction from a tire maximum-width position, and the roughened region has an inner periphery formed on a radially outer side of a radially outer edge of the normal rim.
