Abstract
The invention relates to a method for applying an adhesive tape on a flange of a stiffener, each flange extending longitudinally and including an outer profile, the method comprising a step for driving the stiffener from upstream to downstream along a circulation path; a step for measuring the outer profile of a portion of the flange of the stiffener in a first position of said circulation path; a step for applying said adhesive tape on the flange of the stiffener; then a step for cutting said adhesive tape, in a second position of said circulation path situated downstream from the first position, based on said measured outer profile.
Claims10
A method for applying an adhesive tape on a flange of a stiffener, each flange extending longitudinally and including an outer profile, the method comprising:
- a step for driving the stiffener from upstream to downstream along a circulation path;
- a step for measuring the outer profile of a portion of the flange of the stiffener in a first position of said circulation path;
- a step for applying said adhesive tape on the flange of the stiffener;
- then
- a step for cutting said adhesive tape, in a second position of said circulation path situated downstream from the first position, based on said measured outer profile.
A device for applying an adhesive tape on a flange of a stiffener, each flange extending longitudinally and including an outer profile, the device comprising:
- a module for driving a stiffener from upstream to downstream along a circulation path;
- a module for measuring the outer profile of a portion of a flange of a stiffener in a first position of said circulation path;
- a module for applying an adhesive tape on a flange of a stiffener;
- and
- a module for cutting an adhesive tape, in a second position of said circulation path situated downstream from the first position, based on said measured outer profile.
