Abstract
There is provided a fire extinguishing composition which comprises a foaming agent, an emulsifier, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, and polyphosphate. There is also provided a gel-state fire extinguishing material which is formulated by mixing the fire extinguishing composition with water. In use, the gel-state fire extinguishing material is diluted with an additional amount of water.

Afire extinguishing composition adapted for mixing with water to form a gel-state fire extinguishing material, said composition comprising:
- a foaming agent, an emulsifier, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, and polyphosphate.
A gel-state fire extinguishing material comprising:
- a foaming agent, an emulsifier, sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate, polyphosphate, and water.
