Instant media sharing to defined groups based on location

Non-transitory computer-readable storage media encoded with a computer program including instructions executable by a processor to create a mobile application for instant media sharing, the mobile application comprising:

• a. a software module configured to determine geolocation;
• b. a software module configured to capture media;
• c. a software module configured to transmit captured media to a server, each captured media associated with a capture time and a capture geolocation;
• and
• d. a software module configured to view an individual media stream provided by the server, the media stream comprising transmitted media for which a user is identified as a recipient user, a recipient user present within a radius about a capture geolocation during a time interval about a capture time.

Non-transitory computer-readable storage media encoded with a computer program including instructions executable by a processor to create a server application for instant media sharing, the server application comprising:

• a. a database of geolocation information, the geolocation information associated with each user of a mobile application;
• b. a software module configured to receive media, each media captured and transmitted by a user of the mobile application, each media associated with a capture time and a capture geolocation;
• and
• c. a software module configured to provide an individual media stream to each user of the mobile application, the media stream comprising received media for which a user is identified as a recipient user, a recipient user present within a radius about a capture geolocation during a time interval about a capture time.
