Abstract
Disclosed is a method and device for providing a broadcasting service, including: acquiring signaling information from a broadcasting signal received from a broadcasting network; acquiring information on a hybrid broadcasting service based upon the signaling information; and determining whether a component to be received through a communication network exists based upon information on the hybrid broadcasting service.

A method for providing a broadcasting service, comprising:
- acquiring information on a hybrid broadcasting service based upon signaling information of a broadcasting signal received from a broadcasting network;
- and
- determining whether a component to be received through a communication network exists based upon network capability, service capability of receiving device and information on the hybrid broadcasting service, and determining the hybrid broadcasting service.
A device for receiving a broadcasting service comprising:
- a broadcasting receiving processor for acquiring signaling information from a broadcasting signal received through a broadcasting network;
- a service signaling information analyzer for acquiring information on a hybrid broadcasting service based upon the signaling information;
- and
- a service manager for determining whether a component to be received through a communication network exists based upon network capability, service capability of the receiving device and information on the hybrid broadcasting service, and determining the hybrid broadcasting service.
