Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a receiving device, a receiving method, a transmitting device, a transmitting method, and a program through which it is possible to provide an application program simultaneously executed with AV content in hybrid-type broadcast. A control information acquisition unit acquires continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with AV content is able to continue. An application control unit terminates an application program being executed based on the continuation range information. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a television receiver configured to receive a digital television broadcast signal.
Claims20
A receiving device comprising:
- a receiving unit configured to receive AV content;
- a continuation range information acquisition unit configured to acquire continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with the AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a control unit configured to terminate the application program being executed based on the continuation range information.
A receiving method of a receiving device, the method comprising:
- by the receiving device,
- a step of receiving AV content;
- a step of acquiring continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with the AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a step of terminating the application program being executed based on the continuation range information.
A program for causing a computer to function as:
- a receiving unit configured to receive AV content;
- a continuation range information acquisition unit configured to acquire continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with the AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a control unit configured to terminate the application program being executed based on the continuation range information.
A transmitting device comprising:
- a generation unit configured to generate continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a transmitting unit configured to transmit the continuation range information.
A transmitting method of a transmitting device, the method comprising:
- by the transmitting device,
- a step of generating continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a step of transmitting the continuation range information.
A program for causing a computer to function as:
- a generation unit configured to generate continuation range information for specifying a range on a time axis in which an operation of an application program simultaneously executed with AV content is able to continue;
- and
- a transmitting unit configured to transmit the continuation range information.
