An image processing apparatus comprising:
- a connection unit configured to establish a connection with an information processing apparatus that remotely maintains the image processing apparatus;
- a receiver configured to receive a transition instruction of a screen from the information processing apparatus connected by the connection unit;
- and
- a display controller configured to display a first screen on an operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen received by the receiver, and control not to display a second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen received by the receiver,
- wherein, in a case where the display controller has controlled to display the first screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen, the first screen is displayed on a display unit of the information processing apparatus, and in a case where the display controller has controlled not to display the second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen, the second screen is displayed on the display unit of the information processing apparatus.
A method of controlling a image processing apparatus, the method comprising:
- establishing, by a connection unit, a connection with an information processing apparatus that remotely maintains the image processing apparatus;
- receiving, by a receiver, a transition instruction of a screen from the information processing apparatus connected by the connection unit;
- and
- displaying, by a display controller, a first screen on an operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen received by the receiver, and controlling not to display a second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen received by the receiver,
- wherein, in a case where the display controller has controlled to display the first screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen, the first screen is displayed on a display unit of the information processing apparatus, and in a case where the display controller has controlled not to display the second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen, the second screen is displayed on the display unit of the information processing apparatus.
A computer program product comprising a computer-usable medium having control logic stored therein for causing a computer to function as a image processing apparatus, the control logic comprising:
- first computer-readable program code for causing a connection unit to establish a connection with an information processing apparatus that remotely maintains the image processing apparatus;
- second computer-readable program code for causing a receiver to receive a transition instruction of a screen from the information processing apparatus connected by the connection unit;
- and
- third computer-readable program code for causing a display controller to display a first screen on an operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen received by the receiver, and controlling not to display a second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen received by the receiver,
- wherein, in a case where the display controller has controlled to display the first screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the first screen, the first screen is displayed on a display unit of the information processing apparatus, and in a case where the display controller has controlled not to display the second screen on the operation unit according to the transition instruction to the second screen, the second screen is displayed on the display unit of the information processing apparatus.
