Abstract
A data conversion server reduces a data amount of a path that constitutes drawing data. The data conversion server adds information used to adjust a scale of the drawing data to the drawing data, wherein the information is obtained based on a length of the path before the data amount is reduced. For example, in a case of data in the SVG format, path length information before the data amount is reduced is set to an attribute (PathLength) as the information used to adjust the scale.
Claims15
An information processing apparatus comprising:
- a reducing unit configured to reduce a data amount of a path that constitutes drawing data;
- an adjusting unit to add information used to adjust a scale of the drawing data to the drawing data, wherein the information is obtained based on a length of the path before the data amount of the path is reduced by the reducing unit.
An information processing system comprising:
- an information processing apparatus;
- and
- a terminal configured to communicate with the information processing apparatus through a network,
- wherein the information processing apparatus comprises:
- a receiving unit configured to receive data from the terminal through a network;
- a converting unit configured to convert the received data to drawing data constituted by a path;
- a reducing unit configured to reduce a data amount of the path that constitutes the drawing data;
- an adjusting unit configured to add information used to adjust a scale of the drawing data to the drawing data, wherein the information is obtained based on a length of the path before the data amount of the path is reduced by the reducing unit;
- and
- a transmitting unit configured to transmit the drawing data to which the information used to adjust the scale is added to the terminal,
- wherein the terminal comprising:
- a displaying unit configured to apply, to the received drawing data, adjustment of the scale by using the added information and display.
A method for controlling an information processing apparatus comprising:
- reducing a data amount of a path that constitutes drawing data;
- adding information used to adjust a scale of the drawing data to the drawing data, wherein the information is obtained based on a length of the path before the data amount of the path is reduced in the reducing step.
A non-transitory storage medium on which is stored a computer program for making a computer function as respective units of an information processing apparatus, the information processing apparatus comprising:
- a reducing unit configured to reduce a data amount of a path that constitutes drawing data;
- an adjusting unit configured to add information used to adjust a scale of the drawing data to the drawing data, wherein the information is obtained based on a length of the path before the data amount of the path is reduced by the reducing unit.
