Systems for processing electronic transactions

A mobile communication device comprising:

• at least one wireless data input system;
• at least one wireless data output system;
• at least one data processor;
• at least one user input system, and
• at least one persistent memory device, the at least one persistent memory device comprising stored data representing instructions interpretable by the at least one processor and configured to cause the device to:
• in response to one or more command signals generated by the user input system, use the at least one wireless data input system to receive from a second mobile communication device data representing a tokenized transaction data set, the tokenized transaction data set comprising data representing an authorized transaction value and data useable by a transaction adjudication system for adjudicating completion of a payment transaction;
• using the at least one wireless data output system, output the same or another tokenized transaction data set for use by the transaction adjudication system in adjudicating the payment transaction.

A mobile communication device comprising:

• at least one network communication system;
• at least one data processor;
• at least one user input system, and
• at least one persistent memory device, the at least one persistent memory device comprising stored data representing instructions interpretable by the at least one processor and configured to cause the device to:
• receive, from the at least one user input system, data representing an identifier associated with a merchant transaction processing system;
• generate at least one transaction data set, the transaction data set comprising data representing at least the same or another identifier associated with the merchant transaction processing system and a pre-authorized transaction payment value;
• using the at least one network communication system, route the at least one transaction data set to a transaction adjudication system for adjudication of a transaction associated with the at least one transaction data set;
• and
• using the same or another network communication system, receive from the transaction adjudication system data useful for confirming execution of the transaction.

A transaction adjudication system comprising:

• at least one network communication system and at least one data processor;
• the at least data processor configured to cause the transaction adjudication system to:
• using the at least one network communication system, receive from a mobile communication device at least one purchaser transaction data set, the purchaser transaction data set comprising data representing at least an identifier associated with a merchant transaction processing system and a pre-authorized transaction payment value;
• using the same or another network communication system, receive from the merchant transaction processing system associated with the identifier at least one merchant transaction data set, the merchant transaction data set comprising data representing at least:
• a transaction payment amount and
• at least one of a transaction identifier and the same or another identifier associated with the merchant transaction system;
• using at least the purchaser transaction data set and the merchant transaction data set, authorize completion of a transaction and generate a transaction confirmation data set;
• and
• using the same or another network communication system, route the transaction confirmation data set to at least one of the mobile device, the merchant transaction processing system, and an account administration processing system.
