Handling of information on incidents

A system comprising at least one processor and at least one memory, the at least one memory storing a computer program, and the at least one memory and the computer program configured to cause at least one apparatus to perform at least the following, when the computer program is executed by the at least one processor:

• receive an indication of an incident;
• determine whether the incident is located in an area that is defined to surround an entity of a supply chain network, the entity being one of a supply chain node and a supply chain lane, and whether the entity of the supply chain network is relevant for a shipment associated with a company;
• and
• cause a reporting of the incident to a user in case at least one criterion is met, the at least one criterion comprising that it is determined that the incident is located in an area that is defined to surround an entity of a supply chain network and that the entity of the supply chain network is relevant for a shipment associated with the company.

A computer program product storing a computer program configured to cause at least one apparatus to perform the following when executed by at least one processor:

• receive an indication of an incident;
• determine whether the incident is located in an area that is defined to surround an entity of a supply chain network, the entity being one of a supply chain node and a supply chain lane, and whether the entity of the supply chain network is relevant for a shipment associated with a company;
• and
• cause a reporting of the incident to a user in case at least one criterion is met, the at least one criterion comprising that it is determined that the incident is located in an area that is defined to surround an entity of a supply chain network and that the entity of the supply chain network is relevant for a shipment associated with the company.
