A device includes circuitry configured to acquire detection data from at least one sensor device corresponding to movement of the device. The circuitry is also configured to control at least one sensitivity detection mode of the at least one sensor device and determine a sampling rate for the at least one sensor device based on the at least one sensitivity detection mode. The circuitry is also configured to determine gestures performed by a user based on the detection data from the at least one sensor device and control operation of the device based on the gestures performed by the user.
A device comprising:
A method of controlling operation of a device, comprising:
A non-transitory computer readable medium having instructions stored therein that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform a method of controlling operation of a device, wherein the device includes a motion sensor, the method comprising:

1. Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to a terminal device that is worn by, or attached to, a user and a method for operating the terminal device.
2. Description of Related Art
A more complete appreciation of this disclosure and many of the attendant advantages thereof will be readily obtained as the same becomes better understood by reference to the following detailed description when considered in connection with the accompanying drawings, wherein:
FIG. 1 is a non-limiting block diagram for a terminal device, according to certain embodiments;
FIG. 2 is an exemplary block diagram of a motion sensor for a terminal device, according to certain embodiments;
In the drawings, like reference numerals designate identical or corresponding parts throughout the several views. Further, as used herein, the words “a,” “an” and the like generally carry a meaning of “one or more,” unless stated otherwise. The drawings are generally drawn to scale unless specified otherwise or illustrating schematic structures or flowcharts.
Furthermore, the terms “approximately,” “about,” and similar terms generally refer to ranges that include the identified value within a margin of 20%, 10%, or preferably 5%, and any values therebetween.
This disclosure relates to a method of operating a terminal device that is worn by a user. For the remainder of this description, the phrase “terminal device” is meant to describe any sort of electronic device with a touchscreen display and wireless communication capability that can be worn by a user, such as a smart watch. This phrase is not meant to limit the scope of this disclosure, but is used to merely provide a more concise description.
